Read Mark 12:13-27

  1. Who sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to trap Jesus in v. 13? (Look back at Mark 11:27-28)
    1. Why did they want to trap Jesus?
  2. How did begin their trap for Jesus? What question did they ask?
    1. Did Jesus fall for their trap? Why or why not? (v. 15-17)
    2. How did they respond to his answer?
  3. Who asked him the next question in v. 18?
    1. What does Mark tell us about Sadducees?
  4. What question did they ask him in v. 19-23?
  5. Why does Jesus say the Sadducees are wrong? (look at v. 24)
