    1. Read Acts 15:36–16:40
    2. Who is mentioned in the passage? 
      1. Consider new characters. What do we learn about them?
      2. How do they react to Paul and his ministry?
    3. Where do Paul and his group go? What do they do?
      1. What effects are described?
      2. How do people respond?
      3. What do people say?
      4. How does Paul respond?

    INTERPRETATION
    What does it mean?

    1. Was the sharp disagreement between Paul and Barnabas right or wrong? What in the text makes you think so?
    2. What does it mean, "the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul" (v.14)?
    3. Why was the jailer going to kill himself?
    4. How does belief in the Lord Jesus save us? What does it save us from?

    APPLICATION
    How should it change us?

    1. What can we learn about God from this passage? How do those truths change how we live?
    2. What can we learn from the different examples in the passage? What examples are good/bad? What specifically can we imitate/avoid?
    3. How does the gospel bear this kind of fruit?
    4. What do we see about the gospel's power to form community/fellowship? How can we work for that kind of community in Covenant Hope?
