- What did Joseph observe about the cup bearer and the baker after they saw the dream? ( (Genesis 40:6-7)
- Was Joseph’s dream interpretation accurate?
- What was Joseph's request to the Cup Bearer & why? (Genesis 40:14-15)

What does it mean?
- Why do you think God gave these specific dreams to the cupbearer, the baker and Pharoah at this particular time? Why did God choose to communicate in this way?
- What do we learn about Joseph’s character & faith in these two passages? (Genesis 40-41)
- Examine the names Joseph gives to his sons. What do these names reveal about Joseph's personal journey and his perspective on his past suffering?
- How do these chapters demonstrate God's sovereignty over all events, even those that seem to be working against us? (Genesis 40-41)
APPLICATION
What will I do?
- How can we apply Joseph's example of serving others with humility and kindness, even when we are in a difficult or unjust situation?
- How can Joseph's perseverance and trust in God during suffering & long periods of waiting be an encouragement to us in times of difficulty?
- Joseph gave all glory to God, while being humble and having a God-centered attitude in both success and hardship. How should this change us?
