The Gospel

The Gospel is Good News

God
God is the creator of everything and everyone. He cares for his creation and he loves us.
He is also holy, just, and punishes all evil expelling it from his presence.
(John 3:16, John 1:3, Matthew 6:26, Romans 1:18)

Man
God made us for himself so that we would find our purpose in fellowship with him.
But we all have rebelled and turned away from God. The result is separation from God and the penalty is eternal death.
(Colossians 1:16, Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23)

Christ
God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ to restore that broken fellowship.
Jesus lived a morally perfect life. He died as a substitute for us by paying the death penalty for our rebellion. He rose from the dead and is alive today to offer us a new life of fellowship with God, now and forever.
(Colossians 1:19-20, 1 Peter 2:22, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:34, John 10:10)

Response
You must repent, or turn away from your sin and rebellion against God.
You must believe Jesus died to provide forgiveness and a new life of fellowship
with God.
You must receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord with the intent to obey him.(Matthew 4:17, John 1:12, John 15:10)
