APPLICATION

What will I do?

    1. Peter begins the passage by praising God. Praise God for His mercy, praise Him for the living hope and the imperishable inheritance that we have in Christ.
    2. Since we have a living hope, how should this change our attitude when we face uncertainties in our life?
    3. Since believers are promised an imperishable heavenly inheritance, is there any specific area in your life where you are focusing more on the perishable? How does this passage challenge you to change your focus?
    4. Considering that our new birth is according to God’s mercy and He is the one who guards us by His power. How does this passage guard us from doubts about our salvation?
