    1. How does the gospel empower a life of wisdom in us?
    2. Where are you tempted to be bitterly jealous or pursue selfish ambitions? (Another way to consider this question is- where is there disorder or vile behaviour in your life?) Repent of these sinful heart desires.
    3. In what ways can you pursue and promote the characteristics of wisdom from above unfolded in vv.17-18?
    4. Pray for Covenant Hope to be kept from earthly, unspiritual, demonic "wisdom" and to be showing "the meekness of wisdom [from above]" by growing in godliness.
