Jesus tells the two disciples in verse 39 to "come and see". What else does Jesus say the disciples will see? (John 1:50-51)

Summarize the passage in one sentence.
In verse 37, two of John the Baptist's disciples decide to follow Jesus. Why do you think that John the Baptist didn't follow Jesus himself?
1. What was John's purpose from God? (think back to John 1:29-31)
Why does Jesus rename Simon in verse 42?
1. Who are some people who were renamed in the Old Testament?
2. Who gave them a new name?
