What does it say?
Read Revelation 1:9-20.
Do you notice any repeated words or ideas?
What is "tribulation"? Look it up if you're not sure what it means.
How is Jesus described in these verses?
What command(s) does he give to John?
INTERPRETATION
What does it mean?
What do you think it means for John to be a "brother & partner in the tribulation"?
What do you think it means to be a partner in "the kingdom"?
What do you think it means to be a partner in "the patient endurance"?
In Rev. 1:17, John fall at the son of man's feet "as though dead".
Why do you think John reacted this way to the vision he saw?
How might the son of man's action toward's John be unexpected?
