INTERPRETATION
What does it mean?
In Revelation, there are many times that the nations (tribes, tongues, peoples, languages) are mentioned.
How are they described in these chapters?
What is the consequence for their actions?
What do you think Babylon represents?
What do you think the foreign woman represents?
How are these things similar?
Why do you think the author, John, wants his readers to know the end of "Babylon" is coming?
APPLICATION
What will I do?
How does the end of "Babylon" and the coming marriage supper of the lamb encourage you to live today?
Are there any other applications that we can make from this passage?
Pray in light of this passage and for those close to you who have not yet believed in the gospel.
Sing
O For A Thousand Tongues
to God and to one another.
