  2. What characters are mentioned?
  3. What places are mentioned?
    1. Where does Paul start and where does Paul end up?
  4. What are repeated words/phrases?
  5. What questions do you have after reading through the chapter?
  6. What is Festus' reaction to Paul's speech? What about King Agrippa's reaction?

INTERPRETATION

What does it mean?

  1. Lookup any sailing phrases you don't understand (e.g. "under the lee", "putting out", etc.)
  2. What differences do you see between what Paul says in verse 10 and what he says in verse 22?
    1. What new information is introduced in verse 24?
    2. What ends up happening to the ship and to all those on board?
  3. How do the emotions of the people change throughout the chapter?
  4. The storm, and even the guards, threaten Paul's life.
    1. Why do you think Paul survives?
    2. Who keeps Paul alive?
    3. What does this teach you about God?
  5. What comparisons and contrasts can you make between this passage and Jonah 1:3-6?
