Psalm 34 | Bible Study Questions
COVENANT HOPE CHURCH
| 5 JUNE 2024
OBSERVATION
What does it say?
Read Psalm 34.
What repeated words do you see?
Do you notice any contrasts or similarities in this psalm?
What situation was David in, and how is he responding?
What instructions did David give and what rewards come with them?
INTERPRETATION
What does it mean?
What does it mean to seek the Lord? (v. 4)
How is David able to praise God in times of trouble (running away from his enemies)?
How did God deliver Jesus when trouble arose? (did he?)
How can Christ save us from death?
APPLICATION
What will I do?
What/who do we fear more than God?
What would it look like to fear God more than these other fears?
What can we do to cultivate a bigger view of God in our lives?
Do you ever find it difficult to praise God in times of trouble?
What would it look like to make Him our refuge in those times?
How can we encourage others in the church to praise God together?
Pray in light of this passage and any applications you've made.
Sing
O Praise the Name
to God and to one another.
