What does it mean?

  1. Why might it be important to start and end a letter of commendation and rebuke with reminders about Jesus?
  2. Which of the churches seem to be doing the best spiritually? (Notice that the church in Smyrna receives no rebuke).
    1. What is going on in Smyrna? Are they facing persecution?
    2. What might this suggest about the Christian life?
  3. What stands out to you about these 7 churches?
