    1. What themes or ideas have you seen repeated throughout the book?
  3. Read John 1:1-18 and John 20:30-31.
    1. What does John say is his purpose in writing?
    2. Why has Jesus come?

INTERPRETATION

What does it mean?

  1. Take 5 minutes or so on your own and think about the how you would summarize the main idea of this book in your own words. It would be helpful to write it down. (Try to keep it to one sentence only)

    2. What things did you notice in common?
  2. What is one story you want to remember from the book of John and why?
